SA, I am a fan of open-source as a concept (from a developer prespective) ,but when it comes to operating systems, unfortunatly Windows family is the easiest , as it's very hard to convenice ordinary users to get an rpm distribution or even the easier yum tool or any linux distribution tools to get a simple application he/she just installs in few seconds in windows. Also, having an Islamic OS is somewhat strange word ,adding some applications that can be installed on any other platform or using arabic as a language doesn't make an Islamic OS , What about Pakistani / Indians who uses Urdu/Hindu also indonisians , iranians and others aren't they moslims also?. It's great to have an arabic science, not just pretending to have one while we are just modifying / using foriegn science and technology. Thank you. |

Brother, the old days of rpm and deb were gone, now you install all of your softwares online :) I think it is easier than from getting the exe and install it yourself
At Linux community, every group of ppl doing much more than that, as there are gamers distro, graphics distro, developers distro, designers distro and even a christian distro.
The community never stops, thanks to you and me and all of us we can give more and more.
I agree with you, but consider it the first step on the read . Thanks brother :) |
