doctor2181 first I encourage you to leave EDS and join Link because your sound looks like thier engineers :) Dear I'm honest and this is what really happened. I said the speed test result was less than 11k and that is not mean the speed is 11k all the time (the speed was less than that:) ) For reasons why I was not able to login to MSN you can return to msharaf reply or search the internet (If I know the reson I will tell you and tell Link engineers). By the way Im he not she and my name is Osama and I'm working with ITWorx :) Please don't take it personally, we all in the same ship and we all want better services and better life. |

Salam all i`m currently back to egypt from a short travel and i`m boiling about what i see of the Internet (specfically My ISP which i`m regreting to choose , LinkDotNet) The service isn`t bad all the time its infact good i`m an Online Gamer , i play World of warcraft Official so the latency and its relation with internet health is one of my top priorities each hour i`ll just tell u simply that Link isn`t bad , but "mesh 3aref a2ol ezay in english, bel3arabi heya El E7tekar" they are 1 of 2 Major ISPs in Egypt Since the line down problem 2 months ago Link gets its bandwidth Mostly from TE Data (el heya betedi mo3zam masr) and thats ok but what happens if LinkDotNet have many users with them but almost the bandwidth after the cables cut (or for any other reason) is low???? they will just put us "the users" 3ala ad el bandwidth eli 3andohom , for example 1 Gigabit connection to serve magmo3et 7`otoot 7awali 1.5 Gigabit (thats an example) Howa 7ad 3aref wala fahem 7aga ;) the net here ( and b4 and after cables cut with Weeeekkks) is BAD But its normally 70% of the time good and My ADSL Signal Attenuation and SNR Margin are Both GREAT (ana ganb el cenetral) I ping the router and its always less than 1 ms(No spyware, no router hangs) and i restart the router /my PC frequetly simply i get like 3% timeouts ( which causes problems thats much more than 3%) and the Latency itself is so FLUCTUATING (Bezabt ekanek 3ala 7`at and someone is using p2p / Bittorrent) 3arfeen leh?? le2naka fe3lan ba2et ekanak a3ed fee wasla men el heya be 30 geneh fee el shahr we kolo mesha3`al torrents anyway i don`t wanna tell u how Stupid the poor Customer upport employees are! ( malhomsh da3wa dee link is the one responsible) wala ye3ref el ping... wala tracert command we men el a7`er howa 3aref aw mesh 3aref en el sherkah feha bandwidth problem (they r selling u Nothing , just putting more and more ppl).. we fee el both cases he will just tell u to "Plz Start downloading the file from www.yahoo.com games " and will say his Copy paste stupid comments about the speed u gonna tell him 7ata law enta 3arftoh enak bani adam GOOD in networking and communications p.s ana Mechanical Engineer bas et3alemt el Internet diagnosis and troubleshooting because of the always troubled Linkdotnet connections (from IT forums) i`m just sharing my thoughts as i`m so pissed off as of comparison between Link and other ISP (TE data) i have No Clue cause maybe TE data are even worse how knows ;) |
