Do you think really that the DSL service of linkdotnet is with this bad level? is it logical to be the largest internet service provider in Egypt and you have a service like that? according to my experience, I supscribed for 7 monthes and I didn't need to call the customer service at all. Some people actually have problems, but not in this way. The only bad thing with them that they are billing you even if the service is down or you've a problem in the service. I think this is the main problem that we should work on it, and lets say help them to fix it, or even force them to fix it. I also face the same problem with LINKDOTNET: - Extremely bad service (I wasn't able to login into MSN at all) -The download test that their engineers told me to do result with download speed less than 11K (it was suppose to be 32 and the acceptable speed between 24k and 28k) -The engineer told me that this is an acceptable speed!!! and this is the best I can have. -I want to cancel my subscription and I do through phone, :) but of course they actually didn't cancel the subscription!! -I try to know why? and do my best to cancel the subscription through phone but they told me that I have to pay the new month bill first (5 or 6 days passed from this new month)!!! -I go to their place and sign cancelling papers, and they told me that the line will be released after 2 weeks. -After 3 weeks the service was still active!!! -I call them again and told them please cancel my subscription and release my phone line (I want to subscribe with another ISP) -They told me that I have to pay all behind bills!! - I call 155 and report my problem. -I sent complain mails to yahoo groups. -Finally the customer relation manager send me mail with contact details of some one and this one was suppose to help me. -I try to reach him for hours and finally after talking with him, guess what? he told me that I have to pay the bills. -I called 155 again and they do NOTHING and I keep calling them every 2 days for about 3 weeks!!! and every time I ask for the status of my problem and they told me to be patient and they will fix it (that was from may be 10 months and until now they didn't call me:) ) -Finally I go to link and fix my problem. guess how? I pay the 2 bills before they become 3 or more (forgive me but I need DSL service and I can't wait any more) WELCOME IN EGYPT Yours Osama Ibrahim |

Did I said anthing else? :D Did I claimed that LinkDotNet are a multinational company? or they have the best service in Egypt? I actually have the same problem and I've a bill from last Feb. and I made a cancellation request and didn't have the cancellation number yet. what I need to do is to make the people honest first, then try to help them to solve their problems. I can login to MSN from phone line access with download rate less that 2k/sec. I agree with here that if she have a line with 256k speed she should have 30k/second speed, but this is the maximum, and the minimum is 11k/sec :) and if you reached the minimum they can't do anything for you :) Welcome to Egypt. I know that it doesn't make sence but these are their terms and that is what they are telling people, and everyone have to accept this service or simply cancel the service.
